Call for Presenters for the 7th Annual AADCP Problem Solving Court Conference

“The Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals (AADCP), in partnership with the ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy, is pleased to announce the Call for Presenters for the 7th Annual AADCP Problem Solving Court Conference: Paving the Pathway to Transformation to be held April 19 – 21, 2017, at the Prescott Resort in Prescott, Arizona.”

The AADCP is seeking proposals for sessions at the upcoming 2017 conference. Some of the categories include: Behavioral Health Treatment & Support, Veterans Treatment Courts, Juveniles & Young Adults, DUI/ Drug Courts/ Healing to Wellness Courts, and Core Principles.

Deadline for submissions is December 9th, 2016 by 5:00pm MST (4:00pm PST).

10th Annual Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day

“National Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day is an annual live online chat held between high school students and NIDA scientists during National Drug & Alcohol Facts WeekSM. Students from around the country ask the questions they most want the answers to about drugs and drug abuse, including drug effects, how to help friends or family that are abusing drugs, and what causes addiction. Our expert scientists give them the facts.”

OJJDP Social Science Analyst Position

OJJDP is searching for a Social Science Analyst for the Research Unit as a part of Innovation and Research Division. The incumbent will develop policies, programs, and initiatives to increase understanding of those in the Juvenile Justice system; review and assess research and make recommendations based on the research; have familiarity with the Juvenile Justice system; consult; and evaluate. Bachelor’s or higher degree required in behavioral or socials sciences, four years of experience or a combination of experience and education.
